How do conscious percepts and perceptual decisions emerge from the dynamical interplay between brain regions?
Which role do neuromodulators (e.g., norepinephrine) play in this interplay?
How can we characterize this interplay based on measures of neural population dynamics?
My research seeks to answer these questions. I'm an Assistant Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Psychonomics Department, University of Amsterdam.
